The Next Big Summer Song?
Dear readers I think Janet Jackson just might have the next big summer song in her sweaty just-torn-of-my-clothes-for-my-album-photoshoot hands. All Nite (Don't Stop) is a slinky and funky party track that I think is going to be a single and it should be. This song could be all over the radio this summer. *crosses over*
Britney on TRL/Everytime video

JC Chasez-Schizophrenic
Got this yesterday. Haven't complelted digested it (sonically mind, in case you think I swallow CD's whole) So far though it should be noted probably next single All Day Long I Dream About Sex is ACE. It's worth buying for this alone... Full review soon.
Britney
Ms Spears current video Everytime looks very stonking indeed. All eerie and "comment on my private life-y". Except I haven't seen it yet. Because it seems MTV UK don't really give a crap? Um why? I can't download it and it's getting v. annoying having to wait for it. Sigh... in other Britney news the next single looks to be Breathe On Me. YES! Also Everytime the single release looks set to have a b-side too. Finally!
Madonna's first Irish gig. In a big field. In a small town. For 140 euro(!)
Madonna is coming to Ireland! Yay! She's playing Slane Castle Co. Meath. Slane is an annual event in Ireland and is usually one big star headlining with others supporting. A bit like an all day festival. However this year it looks as if M only will play and tickets will cost around €140. So she can make 98.5% profit or somesuch. Excuse I know tickets have been this expensive everywhere else but Madonna's not playing in a big field in Paris is she? So why is she charging this much? Seems greedy to me. If this ticket hiking madness stops me from going I shall be v. pissed.

Sorry for the lack of posts
Sorry dear readers for the lack of posts on this blog, I will try and not be so slack in the future. (Not that anyone cares)
Songs I'm hearting at the moment
JC Chasez- Some Girls (Dance With Women)/Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love): My goodness what a set of fabulous tunes Mr Chasez has blessed us with for his first (double A-side) single. Both tunes are very fresh (even Blowin Me Up which was released in Dec 2002 in America (!) ) and different. And buzz is good on his album which I hopefully shall be recieving next week. Hurray.
Christina Milian-Dip It Low: Another fresh tune and a huge turnaround from what Miss Milian brought us before. I love the beat to this as it's both uptempo and sexy/slow at the same time. Great chorus.
Kelis- Trick Me: A bit more subtle compared to the (wonderful) Milkshake but a cool tune nonetheless. I do love the odd little noise in the background.
that is the pick of the new tunes on le radio at the mo. More soon I suppose.

Fountains of Wayne in surprisingly poptastic SHOCKER
Ages ago I heard several tracks from Foutains of Wayne's new album Welcome Interstate Managers. I loved what I heard. Much later when Stacey's Mom broke I liked it but I knew they had much better on the album. I got it last week and I was right. This album for the most part is poptastic. The kind of thing Busted wish they could produce. Sweet lyrics, hooky melodies and guitars that fit and don't sound neutered. The album is a great piece of guitar pop and from someone like me that is saying something. Hunt said album down. Pronto!
